| Summary, etc. | El objetivo principal de este libro es servir de apoyo a los estudiantes de pregrado y de posgrado en el aprendizaje de las matemáticas financieras y en el desarrollo de las competencias que se requieren para la utilización de los conceptos y las herramientas básicas que soportan la toma de decisiones de inversión y financiamiento, incluyendo la evaluación de proyectos. El énfasis del libro se encuentra en la presentación aplicada de los conceptos básicos, fórmulas y herramientas a través del desarrollo de un conjunto numeroso de problemas con su correspondiente solución, explicando al máximo los pasos y las estrategias necesarias para resolver diferentes tipos de problemas que se presentan en este campo. Los problemas que se trabajan a los largo del texto son similares a los que va a encontrar un profesional al aplicar conceptos financieros tanto a nivel personal como en su trabajo diario; a lo largo del este se enfatiza la solución clásica utilizando las formulas e indicadores tradicionales, conjuntamente con una solución que utiliza las respectivas funciones financieras que se incluyen en una hoja de cálculo, específicamente en Excel. |
