| Summary, etc. | En esta obra nos da a conocer que la alimentación influye enormemente en nuestra salud. Muchas enfermedades provienen directamente de una mala alimentación y muchas otras más están influidas por algún tipo de error dietético. Sin embargo, la confusión existente y el desconocimiento generalizado sobre el tema, propician la aparición de charlatanes aprovechados quienes, a su vez, generan una mayor confusión. La única defensa que tenemos frente a este problema es una correcta información. En respuesta a esta necesidad, este libro expone de forma sencilla y amena, aunque exhaustivamente, los principios en los que se asienta una buena alimentación. La primera parte trata sobre los alimentos básicos divididos en las siguientes categorías: leche y derivados; carne, huevos y pescado; verduras y legumbres; frutas; cereales y azúcares, y grasas. La segunda parte habla sobre los nutrientes, como son los hidratos de carbono, grasas, proteínas, vitaminas, sales minerales y agua. Incluye ideas valiosas de menús para lograr una alimentación equilibrada y tablas de composición de los alimentos y de peso ideal. |
