Summary, etc.	La obra general del autor es audio de las comunicaciones marítimas españolas, en general, y de los correos marítimos españoles, en particular. Este tercer volumen esta dedicado a la comunicación con filipinas, la desconocida, a pesar de que en una época fue considerada como " la joya de la corona española" el trabajo abarca el trabajo que va de 1521 a 1884, durante el cual aparece, en el mar y en la marina española, el barco de vapor, que junto al control de las vías de comunicación y, en especial, la del canal de Suez (1869), confirmara a Inglaterra como primera potencia mundial.
