| Summary, etc. | La importacia de la obra de don Miguel Asín Palacios y su papel precursor en los estudios de pensamiento, religión, filosofía, mística y literatura comparada sobre temas árabes e hispanomusulmanes han sido reconocidos en todo momento, pero con el paso del tiempo se acrecienta la figura de este investigador impar, que abrió caminos y líneas de estudio que han servido de pauta a cuantos, con posterioridad a él, se han preocupado por dicha temática. <br/>Este libro reúne Tres estudios fundamentales entre los escritos por Asín: Ibn Masarra y su escuela, que leyó como discurso de ingreso en la Real Academia de Ciencias Morales y Políticas en 1914; El místico Abu-l-'Abbas ibn al-'Arif de Almería y su "Mahasim al-Mayalis", escrito como prólogo a la edición francesa de dicho texto; y, finalmente,Un precursor hispanomusulmán de San Juan de la Cruz, trabajo con que se inició la revista Al-Andalus en 1933. <br/>Con la reedición de estos trabajos, agotados e imposibles de encontrar hace años, Ediciones Hiperión continúa su labor de recuperación de la obra de don Miguel Asín Palacios, fundamental en nuestro panorama intelectual. |
