| Summary, etc. | Modernizar la sociedad exige globales que incluyan al sistema educativo como parte integral del desarrollo económico, cultural y social. El hilo conductor de aprender para el futuro es la educación como practica de la democracia, al libertad, de la equidad, de la innovación y de un humanismo comunitario, en donde el aprendizaje se convierte en un proceso continuo y el hombre es el principal eje del desarrollo. para Miguel A. Escotet, el futuro siempre empieza hoy; aprender para hoy iniciar el camino para combatir la ignorancia, la miseria, la enfermedad, la destrucción, de la naturaleza, la discriminación, la insolidaridad. El autor denuncia el tipo de formación que proporcionan los sistemas educativos a través de un análisis critico -psicológico y sociológico- de la educación, la universidad, los medios de comunicación, las nuevas tecnologías y los paradigmas político, económicos y sociales. Los sitúa orinados hacia el pasado, centrados en el sujeto que enseña, alejados de la vida, estructural-mente rígidos y producto de la crisis ideológica de nuestro tiempo. Presenta a la vez, diversas propuestas para modificar las actuales tendencia , centrados los esfuerzos en el sujeto que aprende, en una educación interectnica e intercultural, cuyo eje es formar al hombre a lo largo de la visa para el cambio permanente y para la eventual crisis producto de la transición |
