Pero los medios, en especial la televisión, mantienen su influencia sobre los individuos toda la vida contribuyendo a la construcción de representaciones sociales, visiones estereotipadas, rechazo o aceptación de valores y generación de prejuicios o preferencias hacia grupos humanos. Padres, educadores y expertos se han enzarzado en discusiones apasionadas en los propios medios sobre el destino de las generaciones mediáticas o mediatizadas por la pantalla. Contribuir a esta controversia es el objetivo final de este libro en el que los autores exponen los efectos que producen en el desarrollo de niños, jóvenes y adultos las nuevas tecnologías audiovisuales. |
