| Summary, etc. | El concepto de focalización del gasto social ha sido muy utilizado en los últimos años en la literatura económica. Por otro lado existe consenso respecto a que la inversión en capital humano, principalmente en salud y educación, facilita el proceso de acumulación de ingresos de las personas y acelera el crecimiento económico. Es en este contexto que las entidades cooperantes de ayuda internacional han incluido en su agenda prioritaria la promoción de un mayor gasto en los sectores de la salud y la educación, y con ello sea despertado un interés creciente por el uso de mejores criterios de gasto con el propósito de incrementar la efectividad de la ayuda en los países receptores. |
