| Summary, etc. | La normalización es un aspecto importante en la vida de los documentos. Tanto para el documento en gestión como para el documento conservado definitivamente, estaba pendiente en el ámbito internacional el establecimiento de pautas generales, como normas de acatamiento voluntario. A través de la gestión de organizaciones internacionales que trabajan en conjunto, es posible garantizar, con el seguimiento de los procedimientos prescritos en dichas normas, el buen funcionamiento del aspecto que abarcan. En este caso, la aplicación y certificación de las ISO 15489 garantiza que una institución cree, capture y administre los documentos adecuados . La archivística no está ausente en los métodos y procesos aplicados en la gestión de documentos. Por su índole requieren en su fase prearchivística un tratamiento más ágil y controlado, de manera que el documento se convierta en parte integrante y en factor condicionante de la administración de una institución. La archivística ha desarrollado técnicas de tratamiento documental que no pueden ser pasadas por alto por los gestores de documentos. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo presentar una interpretación explicativa en idioma español de las normas internacionales ISO 15489, de reciente aparición. Como profesionales archivistas, no podemos dejar de lado los aspectos que hacen a nuestra disciplina y que son tomados en cuenta en las normas mencionadas. |
