El teatro en verso de Yerovì renueva el teatro costumbrista con un humor moderno moderno, pues abandona el afán didáctico o modernizador. personajes definidos, situaciones dramáticas y un lenguaje ágil y flexible son sus rasgos generales aparece , representada en él, la clase media limeña con sus miserias(pobreza, frustración y egoísmo) y posibilidades (aventura, transformación). Es representación cabal de la incipiente sociedad moderna en una ciudad anclada en la tradición que empieza a ser cosmopolita. |
