| Summary, etc. | Este libro es un manual avanzado sobre metodología y aplicaciones cuidadosamente seleccionadas por su carácter emergente e innovador o por la frecuencia de utilización en la investigación empírica. La obra tiene especialmente en cuenta las nuevas estrategias de recogida y análisis de la información sociológica, las mediciones que suponen nuevos aparatos y tecnologías (el mundo digital), la gestión integral y rápida de la información (como los datos espaciales), y los medios de registro y almacenaje de datos digitales (que incluyen imagen, audio y vídeo).
