| Summary, etc. | Este libro ha sido creado con el propósito fundamental de ayudar a profesores y alumnos en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del análisis estructural- Esta disciplina constituye uno de los pilares de la carrera de ingeniería civil y es también importante en algunas otras licenciaturas, como ingeniería mecánica y arquitectura. Su dominio es indispensable para los profesionales que se dedican al diseño de algunas de las obras más espectaculares que construye el ser humano: rascacielos, puentes, presas, plantas industriales, plataformas marítimas, etcétera. El análisis estructurales, asimismo, una de las asignaturas que más contribuyen a la formación de los alumnos, a su entrenamiento en el manejo de conceptos abstractos y a la adquisición de habilidades intelectuales requeridas para el ejercicio profesional de la ingeniera. Por estas razones ha ocupado. desde hace mucho tiempo, un lugar destacado en los planes de estudio. |
