| Summary, etc. | LA ARQUITECTURA PARA EL ARTE Y LA CULTURA. Cuando se habla de arquitectura para el arte y la cultura se remite a aquellos espacios que sirven para la conservación, exhibición y/o representación de expresiones artísticas en todas sus acepciones. Estos edificios son de vital importancia para cualquier pueblo ya que son los encargados de enriquecer a la ciudadanía en materia artística. Dentro de este enorme grupo de construcciones se encuentran edificaciones bien diferentes tales como museos, teatros o centros culturales por sólo mencionar algunas de ellas. En realidad, cualquier tipo de institución ligada al arte o a la cultura puede ser encuadrada dentro de esta clase de arquitectura. Asimismo la diversidad de espacios dedicados al arte se encarna también en la gran variedad de estructuras capaces de alojar a este tipo de instituciones. Edificios nuevos, edificios viejos, espacios reapropiados, edificios remodelados... cualquier tipo de construcción puede servir como sede de la arquitectura para el arte siempre que sea capaz de proteger, exhibir o representar una de las cosas más importantes de una sociedad: su patrimonio artístico y cultural. |
