El movimiento de materiales y productos es la actividad física más generalizada en el mundo. Por esta razón resulta importante que el almacenamiento, el control y el manejo de tan importantes elementos vaya aparejado con el avance de la tecnología administrativa y las técnicas de producción actuales.<br/>Sin embargo, en nuestro contexto empresarial se observa un escaso interés por estudiar y optimizar la función de los almacenes, debido quizá a los altos costos que esto representa.<br/>Alfonso García Cantú, experimentado asesor de empresas industriales y comerciales, expone una serie de teorías acerca de los procedimientos y medios físicos para el almacenamiento, la distribución de funciones y labores del personal, así como la organización de los sistemas de registro. Se dirige especialmente a las personas que tienen a su cargo algún almacén y desean mejorar sus condiciones físicas y administrativas. |
