| Summary, etc. | Este libro describe el equipamiento que hace posible la utilización de las ondas de radiofrecuencia para transmitir un mensaje, empezando primero por estudiar las antenas, elementos que "traducen" los campos electromagnéticos a tensiones y corrientes, y viceversa. Seguidamente se inicia un viaje hacia el interior de un transceptor de Radio, exponiendo las características más sobresalientes de los subsistemas que los forman. El estudio del ruido eléctrico complementa nuestro entendimiento sobre el porqué de algunos circuitos y la forma en que combaten este fenómeno adverso. Las técnicas digitales aplicadas a los sistemas de Radio son revisadas brevemente para consolidar nuestra comprensión de los sistemas de comunicación modernos. Finalmente se enumeran algunas de las principales características de un transmisor y de un receptor de Radio, relacionándolas con los conceptos que se han expuesto en los capítulos anteriores. |
