La primera parte dedicada a los relatos de aventuras se ocupa de los clásicos (Walter Scout, Jules Verne, Alexandre Dumas, R.L. Stevenson), con un esmero en la semblanza biográfica, pues la vida de los autores es casi tanto o más aventurera que sus narraciones. Así mismo, siendo la matriz de los géneros activos, las obras de aventuras despliegan el elenco panorámico de los temas, situaciones, caracteres y técnicas de fabulación que se utilizarán en posteriores procesos narrativos.
