| Summary, etc. | El objetivo fue evaluar la actividad insecticida y repelente del aceite esencial de los frutos demolle (Schinus molle L.) (AEM) en gorgojos (Acanthoscelides obtectus) de frijol (Phaseolus vulgarisl.) en condición de almacenamiento, a través de los métodos contacto directo en papel filtro y pruebade repelencia, donde se aplico a gorgojos en estadio adulto. Se caracterizó física y químicamente elaceite esencial de Schinus molle L; el cual tuvo un rendimiento de 4.6%, en el análisis químicoefectuado por Espectrofotometría Infrarroja (FT-IR) se identificó cualitativamente 10 compuestosquímicos presentes, el principal componente identificado fue el Limoneno y β-mirceno que han sidoinvolucrados en la actividad insecticida y repelente. Concluyendo la dosis letal media DL50 para laactividad insecticida de los gorgojos adultos en frijol para los tiempos 2, 4, 24, 48, 72 y 96 horas es3.9, 2.9, 2.58, 2.25, 1.96 y 1.65ul/ug respectivamente. De la misma se evaluó el tiempo letal medioTL50 para las concentraciones 2.06ul/ug, 2.57ul/ug y 3.09ul/ug de aceite el TL50 es de 66.55, 32.88,4.73 horas respectivamente; para 3.61ul/ug de concentración el TL50 es muerte instantanea. La pruebade repelencia en 4, 48 y 96 horas tiene una variación, para la concentración de 50ul/ug es atrayentepara los tres tiempos de exposición, mientras que la concentración de 55ul/ug es repelente a partir de4h y finalmente la concentración de 60ul/ug es completamente repelente a los tres tiempos deexposición planteado. |
